Rockstar Games has published a new batch of Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots, two weeks before the game launches on November 19. The images sit in a new section of the official GTA VI website called the Launch Gallery. Rockstar promoted it with a Newswire post titled "Explore the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Gallery," and outlets started reporting on it on the afternoon of Thursday, November 5.

Everything in this article comes from Rockstar's own Launch Gallery page, which we loaded and went through on November 6. Where other outlets have read more into the images than the images themselves show, we say so below.

What Rockstar Released

The Launch Gallery is now its own item in the official site's navigation. The images are full 4K stills (3840 by 2160 pixels). Rockstar sorts them into the same sets it has used since the first screenshots went up: the two leads, their joint shots, and the regions of Leonida.

The page as we loaded it contained at least 31 new stills, spread across seven sets:

  • Vice City: 12 images, the largest set
  • Jason Duval: 8 images
  • Jason and Lucia: 4 images, plus a separate crop made for mobile screens
  • Lucia Caminos: 3 images
  • Grassrivers: 2 images
  • Leonida Keys: 1 image
  • Port Gellhorn: 1 image

The file names pick up where Rockstar's earlier numbering stopped. The Vice City shots start at 13, for example, and Jason's at 12. These are additions to the official gallery, not reshuffled old shots. Some outlets have published slightly higher counts. The page may load more images as you scroll, so treat our number as a minimum rather than the total.

The Images, Set by Set

Most of the new images are of Jason and Lucia, and many are darker and more tense than the sunny postcards Rockstar released earlier this year.

  • Jason holds a pistol on a tattooed man in a biker vest with an "MC" patch, in a smoky stairwell. A second armed biker in sunglasses stands behind them.
  • Lucia appears at night in a white vest, gripping a pistol to her chest. A police officer and a patrol car with its lights flashing are behind her.
  • One Jason and Lucia shot is a crowded waterfront bar with a band on a stage under "The Rusty Anchor" sign, plus neon signs for Patriot beer and Barracho.
  • Another shows two figures sitting on a pickup truck on a grassy hill at sunset, looking over a hazy city skyline while deer graze nearby.
  • In Vice City, one image is a packed nightclub with hanging plants, mirror balls and a DJ booth branded "TEILE".
  • The Grassrivers shot is a campfire camp in the wetlands. A man with a snake over his shoulder holds a knife, with an alligator and a bottle of Patriot beer on the table beside him.
  • Leonida Keys gets an underwater scene: a scuba diver swimming beneath a boat hull, with coral and a lionfish in the foreground.
  • Port Gellhorn's single new image is set inside a strip club, lit by a large neon cabaret sign.

Rockstar doesn't caption any of the images, so we haven't named any characters other than Jason and Lucia, or said what is happening in a scene beyond what you can see.

What Is Not Confirmed

RockstarINTEL's write-up says one image shows a real-world rapper in the game, and that another shows a heist at a shopping mall. Rockstar's page has no captions and says neither of those things, so both remain one outlet's reading of the images. We'll add them to the Rumor Tracker if they gain traction, and we won't report them as fact unless Rockstar confirms them.

Where This Fits in the Launch Countdown

The gallery is the latest in a run of official announcements ahead of launch. Rockstar's November 3 Newswire post confirmed that digital pre-loading opens on Tuesday, November 10, with a download of up to 212 GB. Code-in-box copies should reach retailers from November 12. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What to Watch Next

The pre-load on November 10 is the next fixed date. Rockstar hasn't said whether more media will follow before launch. If the Newswire or the official site adds new images or captions, we'll update this story and our screenshot guide. Until November 19, the Launch Gallery is the best official look at the finished game.
