GTA 6 Map: Every Confirmed Leonida Region

Updated July 21, 2026 Updated within 24h of every official Rockstar drop.

Rockstar has officially named six regions of Leonida — its take on Florida — across two trailers and roughly 70 official screenshots. This page tracks every one of them, keeps confirmed fact separated from rumor, and becomes our interactive collectibles map the day the game launches.

Vice City

Officially named

The heart of the map and Rockstar’s neon-soaked take on Miami, back for the first time since 2002. Officially confirmed as the game’s central city, shown extensively across both trailers — Ocean Beach, the strip, and the downtown skyline all feature. The pre-order Vintage Vice City Pack even includes an Ocean Beach garage.

Leonida Keys

Officially named

The island chain hanging off the southern tip of the state — Rockstar’s Florida Keys. Officially named, and shown in aerial screenshots as a string of causeway-linked islands. Official character material places Jason in the Keys when the story opens, on Brian Heder’s property.

Grassrivers

Officially named

Leonida’s Everglades — officially named swampland shown with airboats, gators and stilt shacks. Expect it to play the role the Alamo Sea played in GTA V: the lawless wet frontier between civilization and trouble.

Port Gellhorn

Officially named

A gulf-coast port town officially named in Rockstar’s screenshot captions — faded motels, a raceway and working docks. Reads as the map’s blue-collar counterweight to Vice City’s glamour.

Ambrosia

Officially named

Officially named in Rockstar’s materials and glimpsed as sugar-refinery country — industrial stacks over flat farmland. The least-shown named region so far; this section grows the moment Rockstar shows more.

Mount Kalaga National Park

Officially named

Officially named protected wilderness — pine forest, ridgelines and backroads. Yes, a GTA map with an actual mountain in Florida: Rockstar’s Leonida takes liberties with the real state’s elevation.

What's not confirmed

  • Credible: the map is roughly twice the size of GTA V's, spanning 5+ counties — press estimates, not Rockstar's numbers. On the tracker →
  • Unverified: exact district counts, interior counts, and any "leaked map" images circulating on social media. None come from official material.

Map FAQ

How big is the GTA 6 map?

Rockstar has only said it is the biggest GTA map to date. Press analysis of the trailers estimates roughly twice the size of GTA V’s map, spanning five or more counties — treat that figure as a credible estimate, not an official number.

Is the whole state of Leonida playable?

Rockstar describes the setting as Vice City "and the surrounding state of Leonida." Six regions are officially named so far: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park.

Will there be an interactive GTA 6 map?

Yes — this page becomes The GTA Zone’s interactive collectibles map at launch, with every district, collectible and point of interest pinned as data is confirmed.
