Rockstar Games has put a date on the second Grand Theft Auto VI music release. Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice will be released on December 11, 2026, a little over three weeks after the game itself launches on November 19. The announcement went up on October 29, together with a brand-new Justice single, "Pusher", featuring the French producer Gesaffelstein, which is available to stream now.

We confirmed the details on Rockstar's official GTA VI music page, which now lists the score album as "Coming December 11" and credits it to "the renowned French duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay", the two members of Justice. VGC and Noisy Pixel were among the first outlets to report the news.

What Rockstar has confirmed

According to Rockstar's music page, the album features 30 tracks, "along with a number of digital bonus tracks included across all formats". In plain terms:

  • Release date: December 11, 2026
  • Composer: Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay)
  • Length: 30 tracks, plus digital bonus tracks
  • Formats: all major streaming services, CD and vinyl
  • Physical editions listed in Rockstar's shop: a Double CD and a Limited Triple Crystal Clear Vinyl
  • New single out now: "Pusher (ft. Gesaffelstein)"

Pre-orders for the physical editions and pre-saves for the streaming version are open through the links on the music page. Rockstar has not published a full tracklist yet. Retail prices for the CD and vinyl editions appear on store listings, but we have not checked them first-hand, so we are not quoting figures here. Check the store before you buy, as prices can vary by region.

VGC reports that the score is mostly instrumental, and Noisy Pixel says it includes "Flower in a Hurricane", the Justice track featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard that played over the launch trailer on October 15.

The score is not the same as The Album

GTA 6 now has two separate music releases, and they are easy to mix up.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album was announced on September 17. It is a 34-track collection of original songs made with Atlantic Records, arriving on November 19, the same day as the game. Its singles so far come from a wide range of artists, including Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro and Cardi B. Think of it as the soundtrack album: songs you might hear on the radio in Leonida.

The Original Score is something else. It is the music Justice composed to sit underneath the game itself, the material that plays during missions and moments rather than on the in-game radio stations. Rockstar first confirmed Justice as the game's score composers in mid-October, and this album is the first time that work will be available on its own.

This also settles one open question. Earlier this week a single report claimed the score album would run to 50 songs. Rockstar's own figure is 30 tracks plus digital bonus tracks, so we're treating the 50-song claim as wrong.

Why it matters

Rockstar has used music to sell this launch from the start. Justice's involvement was one of the bigger surprises of the October trailer, and the in-game radio, previewed in an October Newswire post with six stations including Flash FM, is billed as the biggest selection the series has had. Releasing the score in December, after players have spent a few weeks in Vice City, means people will hear these tracks in the game before they can buy them on their own. That is a different approach from The Album, which arrives on launch day.

What to watch next

Expect a full tracklist closer to December 11, and possibly more singles before then. We'll update our music coverage when Rockstar publishes either. In the meantime, the game's launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S remains the date that matters most. Preloading opens at local midnight on November 12.
