Rockstar Games has put the Grand Theft Auto VI music plan on the record. Its official GTA VI music page, checked on October 17, 2026, carries an "Official Score by Justice" section that describes the French duo as the game's "original score composers", and lays out Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track official soundtrack arriving November 19 alongside the game.
Both details come straight from Rockstar. The album was announced on the Rockstar Newswire and on Rockstar's X account on September 17, 2026. The Justice credit sits on rockstargames.com, which matters because the score claim had, until now, only reached us through music-press reports around the launch trailer. This article is built only on those official pages.
What Rockstar Has Confirmed About the Album
The Newswire post describes Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album as "the upcoming official soundtrack album created in partnership with Atlantic Records and launching November 19 alongside Grand Theft Auto VI". Rockstar says it is available to pre-save on all major music streaming services.
Rockstar's X post on the same day added the headline numbers. The album features "34 original tracks that capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida, from a genre-defying artist roster", and physical copies are open for pre-order on vinyl and CD. The official music page's shop section lists two pressings, an Exclusive Vinyl and a Standard Vinyl, alongside the CD.
Rockstar has not published prices on the pages we read, and it has not released the full tracklist. What it has released is a growing run of singles. The music page currently lists nine, up from the six that were available on announcement day:
- "That's It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)" by Yung Lean
- "RHYNO" by Travis Scott
- "Sexy Magic" by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy
- "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice
- "Last Thing You Need" by Morgan Wallen
- "Suzuki" by Fuerza Regida
- "Macacoa 2000" by Rauw Alejandro
- "Don't Chart" by Cardi B
- "Bright Lights, Big City" by Keith Richards
That spread, from a Rolling Stone to regional Mexican music to Argentine pop, is the "genre-defying" roster Rockstar is referring to. Rockstar describes all 34 tracks as original, which separates this album from the licensed back catalogue that fills the in-game radio.
Justice Confirmed as GTA 6 Score Composers
The bigger correction for anyone following this closely is the score. When the launch trailer dropped on October 15, it was soundtracked by Justice's "Flower in a Hurricane", and music outlets reported that the duo had composed the whole original score. At the time we treated that as reported rather than confirmed, because the Newswire trailer post did not say it.
Rockstar's music page does. It names "original score composers Justice" and promotes "Flower in a Hurricane" as their new standalone single, crediting Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard as featured artists. That upgrades two things from reported to confirmed: Justice wrote the original score, and the trailer song's guest features are official.
Handing the whole score to one act is a notable choice for a series whose previous scores were credited to several composers, and it fits the game's Miami-inspired setting. Justice's electro-house sound has been part of club culture since the mid-2000s. What the score actually sounds like inside the game, beyond the trailer track, has not been previewed.
The Radio Stations Rockstar Has Named So Far
The same page restates the in-game radio plan Rockstar first detailed on October 8. It calls the lineup "the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet", spanning "everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio". Six stations are named with their hosts:
- Cocoteo, modern Latin, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata
- Back Country, country, hosted by MW and Delta Dawne
- Afro Bank FM, amapiano, African classics and 3-step, hosted by Burna and Palmsy
- The Chamber, metal, hosted by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom
- Flash FM, the returning Vice City pop station, hosted by Robyn and Alex
- Dirty South Classics, regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by Trick and Trina
Rockstar says the dial runs wider than these six, but it has not yet named the classic rock or talk stations, nor the podcasts. Expect those to arrive in further music posts before launch.
What to Watch Next
Three things are still open on the official side. The full 34-track list has not been published. Pricing for the vinyl and CD editions is not stated on the pages we read, so check the Rockstar Store directly. And the remaining radio stations and podcast lineup are unannounced. Any further singles will show up on Rockstar's music page first, and we will update our soundtrack coverage as they land. The album and the game both arrive on November 19.
