What GTA+ is
GTA+ is Rockstar's paid subscription, built around GTA Online. It typically bundles a monthly in-game cash stipend, rotating vehicle and property perks, member discounts, and access to certain bonus content. A free month means one billing cycle of those benefits at no cost before it would renew at the standard rate.
The catch for physical buyers
The free GTA+ month is tied to digital pre-orders. Buy the code-in-box physical Standard Edition and you don't get it. That's the trade: physical gives you a box on the shelf, digital gives you the subscription perk.
Is it worth factoring in?
For most single-player-focused buyers, not much. GTA 6 launches as a single-player game with no online mode announced, so a GTA Online-centric subscription has limited day-one use. The month is more of a nudge toward digital than a reason on its own.
