Grand Theft Auto VI returns to Vice City — but this time the map stretches across the entire state of Leonida, Rockstar's fictional take on Florida. Thanks to two trailers and a wave of official screenshots, we already know several of the areas you'll explore.
Confirmed areas of Leonida
Rockstar has shown or named these locations in official material:
- Vice City — the neon-soaked, Miami-inspired heart of the map.
- The Grassrivers — a sprawling Everglades-style wetland.
- Leonida Keys — an island chain modeled on the Florida Keys.
- Port Gellhorn — an industrial port town.
- Ambrosia — another of Leonida's settlements.
- Mount Kalaga National Park — forested, mountainous wilderness.
How big is the map?
Rockstar hasn't given an official size, but reporting and analysis suggest Leonida is roughly twice the size of GTA 5's map, spanning five or more counties. Treat those figures as estimates until Rockstar confirms them — but every sign points to the biggest GTA world yet.
What it means
From dense city blocks to swamps, beaches and mountains, Leonida is shaping up to be Rockstar's most varied playground. We'll map every district here as more gets confirmed — GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
