Rockstar Games has finally confirmed how much Grand Theft Auto VI will cost. As pre-orders open on June 25, 2026, GTA 6 launches in two editions: a Standard Edition at $80 and an Ultimate Edition at $100.
GTA 6 editions and prices
There are just two versions to choose from:
- Standard Edition — $80: the base game.
- Ultimate Edition — $100: the base game plus an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons and apparel threaded throughout Jason and Lucia's story, along with Personalized Variants for Jason's Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia's Klose K17 pistol.
Notably, Rockstar did not announce a separate higher-priced "Collector's" edition, despite earlier retailer leaks pointing to a $229 tier.
Every pre-order bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack
Pre-order either edition and you'll get the Vintage Vice City Pack, which includes a classic 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan and a garage in Ocean Beach, decadent outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, and an iconic weapon pattern that nods to Vice City's excessive past.
When and where to pre-order
Pre-orders open at midnight on June 25, 2026 on the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store and at major retailers. GTA 6 is confirmed for PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S — there's no last-gen version, and Rockstar has not announced a PC release for launch day.
The game itself arrives on Thursday, November 19, 2026. At $80 for the standard version, GTA 6 sits at the top of the current AAA pricing tier — but for the most anticipated game in years, plenty of fans will consider it money well spent.
