A GTA radio station has always done more than fill silence — it sets the period, the place and the mood. For Grand Theft Auto VI, the confirmed soundtrack is still small, but it is real, and it comes from the safest possible source: Rockstar's own trailers.

Here is what is actually established, separated cleanly from what isn't.

The Songs Rockstar Has Confirmed

These tracks have appeared in official GTA 6 trailer footage released by Rockstar. That makes them confirmed as *used in marketing* — which is the strongest evidence available before launch, though it is not the same as a confirmed in-game radio placement.

The spread is the interesting part. Classic rock, eighties pop, country and Haitian *konpa* sitting side by side is a very deliberate signal about Leonida — a state built from transplanted populations rather than a single scene.

What's Effectively Confirmed About the Stations

Rockstar has not published a station list. Two things are still on firm ground:

What Is Not Confirmed

This is where most of the internet's GTA 6 tracklists come from, so be careful with them.

Material that surfaced online in August 2026 reportedly contains additional songs and station branding, and various outlets have assembled tracklists from it. We are not treating those as confirmed, for three reasons:

1. Rockstar has not authenticated any of that material. 2. Reports indicate the footage may come from a build over a year old — soundtrack licensing is one of the most volatile parts of a game's production, and tracks are added and dropped late. 3. Music licences expire. Even a genuinely present song can leave before launch.

The persistent claim that a major artist will get a dedicated station in the mould of GTA 5's blonded Los Santos is pure speculation. No official source has said anything of the kind.

What to Expect on August 27

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premieres on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET, arriving on Rockstar's YouTube and the official site around 9 p.m. ET.

If it contains any sustained driving footage, it will almost certainly be the largest single drop of confirmed soundtrack information so far — the radio tends to reveal itself the moment a car does. We will update this page against whatever Rockstar actually shows.

Until then, six songs and a shirt is the honest total.
